About Critiqueer
CritiQueer was born in 2015, after a very queer and very critical teenaged girl misspelled critiquer, much to the delight of the other very queer and very critical teenaged girl. They started this blog, with the hopes of starting their own LGBTQ+ army and writing stories, reviews, and writing advice.
Inside, there is a fabulous collection of all things even remotely related to writing, reading, and the LGBTQ+ life. You can email the admins/timelords/sociopaths/bloggers at [email protected], or you can just silently stalk the blog. Either way works.
This blog strives to provide a little bit more representation of the LGBTQ+ community. We are a positive and will delete all hateful comments (we will allow grammatically correct, logical arguments...if you just want to tell us to fuck off, prepare to be ignored).
We don’t report on current events, due to slightly differing political views and a lack of the time required to properly research stories that are often sensationalized or buried. This blog is non-political because we and anyone who this blog is targeted toward may have different views on a political subject, and we sure as hell aren't going to give advice on who to vote for. Politics is a complicated subject and, frankly, it makes everything way too serious.

About the admins
Violet Daniels, one of the very queer and very critical teenaged girls, is a writer of all things fictional, and something things non-fictional. She’s a panromantic greysexual, and her favorite color is black because a) black is all the colors mixed together (according to science) and b) black is the approximate color of her soul. When she’s not referring to herself in the third person and waxing poetic on the wonders of the color black, she’s writing, drowning in homework, or crying over Sherlock. And reading--we can’t forget about reading.
Sylveon, the other very queer and very critical teenaged girl, is a writer and extreme fangirl. She writes all sorts of fantasy and science fiction, including Doctor Who fanfiction. She's lesbian, but she hasn't come out to her family yet. Her favourite colour is green (although it could be red) and she's American but for some reason spells things the British way. She loves to read. Of course. She is also totally obsessed with dragons.
